In addition to her block prints, Karen Beason creates a number of other cool artworks using paper as a medium. These include:

-Paper mache fish sculptures, in which Karen molds handmade papers into three-dimensional artworks representing salmon, halibut, sea stars, and other oceanic critters.

-Hanging fabric sculptures of fish and ravens (she refers to them as 'Peace Ravens' promoting a world free of violence).

-Mixed media artworks that combine fabric, handmade paper, block prints, and found objects. These mixed media originals are framed in shadowboxes and are meant to be hung as art.

-Mini ravens, a smaller version of Karen's popular peace ravens that can be uses as tree ornaments, as gift attachments, or to help decorate any space.
