If you haven't heard the big news, Annie Kaill's has moved! Our new location is at 124 Seward Street - just up the street from Heritage Coffee and across the street from The Rookery and Shoefly.
The new space is custom renovated, and offers more room for back stock and new items and services including (coming soon!) framing!
We are settling in to our new space, and will be hosting a "soft opening" this month featuring soft goods from four local artists: Frost + Fur, Timber and Tides, Willow + Luna, and WW Knits!
Frost + Fur is a line of high-quality hand-printed apparel designed and printed in Juneau by Jessica Hahnlen.
Featuring several styles of t-shirts and sweatshirts in different designs. Plus other printed items like napkin sets and baby onesies! This month, we have a section of store set up with a huge selection of sizes and designs of sweatshirts and t-shirts.
Timber and Tides is a Juneau-based artisan small business. Their jewelry is locally made, by locals, inspired by Alaska, and uses locally sourced materials. Earrings are unique pieces of art that blend resin and reclaimed wood from local mills. Enjoy an expanded selection this month and at the First Friday event!
At Willow + Luna, proprietor Erin
makes a full line of handcrafted bags right here in Juneau; enjoy a selection of new sidebags, backpacks, purses and more. Our new space will be fully stocked, including a wide selection of Erin's new bag styles introduced this year.
Finally, WW Knits is a line of hand knitted hats, scarves, and more by Juneau artisan Willow Whitton. Known as "that gal" who was always knitting wherever she went, Willow turned her passion into a business a few years back and has been making some of the highest-quality knit wear in town. This month, we'll have a fully stocked assortment of her hats, scarves, and more - again, new goods for the new store!
Our Seward Street soft opening, and the opening reception for our guest artists, will take place on Friday, April 5, beginning at 4:30 pm. Work from our featured artists will be on display all month long.
