Downtown Juneau hosts an art walk on the First Friday of each month. From 4:30-close on the First Friday, visit the shops and galleries of Downtown Juneau. Snacks, socializing, and meeting artists in person highlight these evenings.

Our February First Friday will be something cool just in time for Valentines Day! Since we all know that the ladies love jewelry on the special day, we are featuring a great selection of new jewelry from two of our favorite jewelry artists, Colleen Goldrich and Leah Sturgis.
Leah's jewelry features sleek designs and a sophisticated look that dresses down to jeans or dresses up to the finest professional attire and evening dress. She utilizes combinations of shapes and colors, as well as the properties of the stones, to make jewelry that both looks good and brings good zen too! Leah can't personally be at the event but she will be in during the week to drop off and help display her newest jewelry.
Colleen Goldrich is a Juneau jewelry artist who works primarily with metal, pearls, and semiprecious stones. For First Friday, Colleen will be joining us in person, and brining a bunch of new work. Some of the new work is Valentines theme - heart pendants, garnet earrings, pink freshwater pearls... plus her usual assortment of beautiful necklaces, pendants and earrings.
Between Colleen Goldrich and Leah Sturgis, you're bound to find a great piece of jewelry for your Valentines sweetie... or for yourself! The event takes place on Friday, February 3 from 4:30 to 7pm.

Mother's Day is Sunday, May 13 so this First Friday will be perfectly timed for shopping for mom.

Gallery Walk - December 7, 2012
Gallery Walk is the biggest event of the year for Downtown Juneau. All the shops and galleries stay open late and feature numerous guest artists as well as food, drawings, socializing and more. Help Downtown welcome the holiday season at Gallery Walk! We are firming up our artist commitments for the event and will be announcing later in the year.
