Downtown Juneau hosts an art walk on the First Friday of each month. From 4:30-close on the First Friday, visit the shops and galleries of Downtown Juneau. Snacks, socializing, and meeting artists in person highlight these evenings.

In June, we will be showing photography by Frank Lynn Pierce. Frank is a fine art photographer here in Juneau. Frank's outdoor photography includes a combination of wildlife shots and landscapes including Northern Lights.

Mari Dieumegard - July First Friday - July 1, 2016
Our featured artist for July 2016 will be Mari Dieumegard, showing original artwork. Mari's paintings are a mix of oil pastels and acrylic paintings in narrative style, with each painting telling a story. Her subject matter includes the outdoors, children, and people at play.

Sherri McDonald - November First Friday - November 4, 2016
Our featured artist for November 2016 is Sherri McDonald. Sherri is a paper artist from Douglas, Alaska who will be showing her prints as well as cards, journals, and possibly even a few originals. Sherri's artwork is meticulously crafted using layers and pieces of papers, many of which are handmade.

Gallery Walk - December First Friday - December 2, 2016
The First Friday in December is Downtown Juneau's annual Gallery Walk event, a extraordinary celebration of food, friends, and art. Join us for multiple guest artists, snacks, and an evening of fun on Gallery Walk!
Our featured artists for Gallery Walk and the month of December 2016 include:
|Karen Beason, a Juneau artist creating block prints on handmade paper, fabric ravens, and so much more. She always has something new and exciting for Gallery Walk - last year it was fish shaped stockings!|
|John Svenson, an internationally collected artist and adventerer from Haines. John's paintings and prints display classic watercolor technique and feature jaw-dropping mountain landscapes as well as local wildlife and culture.
For Gallery Walk, John will offer a collection of paintings, wood cut prints, and fused glass pieces.
|Sharon Svenson, who creates colorful mosaics of out glass. Sharon has created installations for Auke Bay and Gastineau elementary schools here in Juneau.
For Gallery Walk, Sharon will offer a collection of mosaic artwork and mirrors, including several raven pieces.
