Rik Pruett, a long time Juneau resident, is a mixed media artist specializing in intarsia.

Intarsia is a form of woodworking in which pieces of different woods are fitted together to create a design or pattern. The word 'intarsia' comes from the Italian word for 'inlay'.

Since Rik started his intarsia journey in 2020, he has pieced together over 13 different Southeast Alaska scenes. Inspired by the world around him, Pruett takes visual art to the next level.
